Thank you for your interest in our business. WebHost was founded in March, 1995, in Brisbane Australia to create a specialized service that dealt solely with content hosting on the then emerging world wide web. At a time when "the internet" meant little more than slow dial up access for a select few, who thought the internet was a interesting phenomenon, WebHost was already leading the way with hosting solutions. We named our new business after the service we provide - Web Host, and in the process coined the term that defines the industry.

In 1998 we officially launched our second company, Dedicated Servers Australia (www.dedicatedservers.com.au). To the best of our knowledge Dedicated Servers Australia (DSA) was at the time the only company exclusively offering dedicated servers and collocation in Australia. From those beginnings we have continued to expanded our dedicated server business to meet market demand for advanced hosting solutions.

With the success of Dedicated Servers Australia and the ever growing number of Web hosting customers in 2002 we merged the operations of both business units to streamline delivery of our services and to build our own datacentre facilities. The new company WebHost DSA Pty Ltd took its name from the amalgamation of the two businesses.

WebHost DSA Pty Ltd now operates from its own private Datacentres in Brisbane and we continue to work directly with IBM, Sun Microsystems, SW Soft, Red Hat and Microsoft and other industry leaders in delivering our services to you.

Now, 10 years later, WebHost DSA is the premier, 100% Australian owned, cash flow positive, private company offering total hosting solutions. We provide virtual hosting, eCommerce, domain name management, dedicated servers and Datacentre facilities in Australia and New Zealand. WebHost DSA is based in Australia and hosts onshore in Australia. We are not a sales outlet for a multinational carrier nor a virtual online business reselling other peoples services. WebHost DSA is a real company, with real operations, employing real Australians, both here and abroad, all helping keep information technology alive, cost effective, and expanding in Australia.
